Three Key Institutions There are three key institutions that shape a child. They are the home, the church, and the school. Children are served best when all three institutions point them in the same direction. As a three legged stool is dangerous and ineffective if one leg is missing or out of place, so is the education and equipping of a child if one of these institutions are at odds with the others. At Lighthouse Baptist School, we point our students toward the direction of Jesus Christ and a life of direction in accordance with His Word. Preparing Students The best preparation for a child to have an effecive, profitable, and God honoring life is to ensure they are very will grounded in God's Truth before engaging the world's culture alone. At Lighthouse Baptist School, our students are taught that the Word of God is Truth. All truth is God's truth. Christian Education is not focused on man's philosophy or mere possibilities but on the certainties found in God's Word. Education Addresses the Whole Child For an education to be considered one of excellence, the process must address the whole child (social, intellectual, emotional, physical, AND spiritual). The spiritual component must be of the nature to instill in the students godly morals and courage to affect their world for good and God's glory.
