IMG 7862Pastor Bill Bryson came from Texas in 1992 to found Tri-City Baptist Church in the San Francisco East Bay Area. In 1998, Pastor followed God’s leading to start a Christian school and began Tri-City Baptist School. Through God’s moving, Tri-City Baptist Church merged with Amador Valley Baptist Church to form Lighthouse Baptist Church. The school also took on the new name in July of 2003.

ruleBro. Chris Rule came from Orange City, Florida to join Lighthouse Baptist Church. He graduated from West Coast Baptist College in 2009 with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Pastoral Theology. He became the Lighthouse Baptist School Administrator shortly following his graduation.

Carol Bryson has served in Christian education for over 40 years in a variety of roles. She is the principal and also the teacher of the 3rd-6th grade video classroom.

Mrs. Ruby Chan has been a faithful church member since 1998. She has worked in the church and school offices since 1999. She has a secretarial associate degree. 

Mrs. Amber Fitzpatrick graduated in 2011 from Golden State Baptist College. She teaches special needs classes at Dublin Elementary School over the summer and is our combined K-2nd grade teacher.

Mrs. Rossana Tucker graduated 2015 from Golden State Baptist College. She had two years of experience at Challenger School before taking over the 7-12th grade video classroom in 2017. 

Miss Sandy Lyon, Mrs. Cynthia Williford, Miss Carol Clark and many others have been involved with the school in numerous areas including teaching and chaperoning.

 

A Ministry of Lighthouse Baptist Church

Lighthouse Baptist School is a ministry of Lighthouse Baptist Church. All operations of Lighthouse Baptist School are decidedly Christian in nature and content and Baptist in doctrine and practice.

History

Pastor Bryson began Tri-City Baptist School in 1998. He had a desire to assist parents in educating and equipping their students to develop a heart for God, to cultivate a sound biblical worldview, and to prepare students to positively impact their families, churches, communities, and country for Jesus Christ. In 2003, Tri-City Baptist Church merged with Amador Valley Baptist Church and formed Lighthouse Baptist Church. It was at this time that Tri-City Baptist School changed its name to Lighthouse Baptist School. Previous administrators have been Pastor Bryson, Jeremiah Blasi, Cliff Reedman, Chris Rule.

Beliefs

The creation and continued operation of Lighthouse Baptist School is to assist Christian parents in fulfilling their responsibility before God to "bring up [their children] in the nurture and admonition of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4). Lighthouse Baptist School shall endeavor to train young people spiritually and practically for a life of service and dedication to the Lord and materially provide for the families.

All instruction and activities provided by Lighthouse Baptist School shall be in accordance with and in obedience to God's principals as revealed in his Holy Word. Instruction in scholastics, Scripture, Christian character and service are necessary to produce well-rounded, productive citizens and Christians. All operations of Lighthouse Baptist School are decidedly Christian in nature and content and Baptist in doctrine and practice.

LBS seeks to accomplish its mission by striving to achieve the following five learning outcomes:

  • Educating students with Bible-centered, content-rich, and academically-rigorous curriculum
  • Equipping students for lifetime of servant leadership
  • Encouraging students to reach their full potential: spiritually, academically, socially, and physically
