The Admission Process

Signature of Forms

Before a child can be admitted into our school, all necessary forms need to be signed by both the parents and the student each year. This shows that they are in total agreement with the rules that have been set forth for our school.


After receipt of registration forms, our office will set an appointment date for an interview with the principal. At least one parent/guardian must attend. No appointment will be scheduled unless all the completed registration forms are in the school office.


Once the interview takes place, you will receive a letter of acceptance or rejection. If you have been accepted, you will be required to pay a registration fee. This fee is non-refundable or transferable.


Each student will be accepted into our school based upon the previous academic, spiritual, and social records provided for our school. All students seventh grade and older must regularly attend Lighthouse Baptist Church or another Baptist/Bible Church approved by the Pastor. Regularly implies attending at least four services per month.

Price of Admission

Lighthouse Baptist School is the most affordable Christian school in Pleasanton and in the surrounding East Bay areas. We strive to assist any financial needs and work hard at keeping the cost as low as possible. 

Our tuition rates for the 2017-2018 school year are as follows:

Regular Tuition

  • 1st Student $450/month
  • 2nd Student $300/month
  • 3rd Student $150/month

Tuition Credits

LBC Attendance Credit

Lighthouse Baptist Church offers a tuition credit for attending a certain number of services each month. The spiritual training of students is a high priority and focus.

To earn the LBC Attendance Credit, the student and family must attend a minimum of six church services each month. This credit will be applied on the next month's billing statement.

The credit allotted will be as follows:

  • 1st Student $150 credit/month
  • 2nd Student $100 credit/month
  • 3rd Student $75 credit/month

Referral Credit

Lighthouse Baptist School offers a tuition credit for referring someone to our school. the referred person must mention that you referred them and stay for at least a full quarter. After they have stayed for a complete quarter, you will receive a tuition credit of $400. You will also receive an additional scaled credit per child in the same family. You can accumulated referrals. For instance, if you refer 3 different single-student families and they mention that you referred them and stay for at least a quarter, we will credit you $1200.

For the Lighthouse Baptist Church Attendance Credit the parents must be in attendance at least 6 services a month. One service is defined as either of the following: Sunday Morning, Sunday Night, or Wednesday Night.

Lewis and Clark Scholarship

The purpose of the Lewis and Clark Scholarship is to provide tuition funds for students to attend Lighthouse Baptist School that may not be able to attend because of financial conditions.
The Lewis and Clark Scholarship was established in 2013 in memory of Myron Lewis and with the support of Tanya Clark. The funds for the scholarship come from the generosity of these two individuals.

The annual $2,000 scholarships will be awarded based upon several considerations. Determination of the recipients of these scholarships will be made by the pastor and nominating board. Factors to be considered for awarding the scholarship include, but are not limited to, the following criteria:

- Financial need
- Faithfulness in church attendance and service
- Character
